The Ludwig LB417 Black Beauty Snare Bargain-Stock is a 6 1/2″ x 14″, black nickel over brass, “Black Beauty” snare drums are some of the most recorded and sought after drums on the market.

This recently received batch carry the “Keystone” badge which is very uncommon for “B-stock”. Usually, they are outfitted with the “Blue & Olive” badge.

This is a gorgeous, 10 lug, black nickel over brass, 6.5″ x 14″ snare drum. The “Black Beauty” drums are some of the most recorded and sought after drums on the market.

The “B” after “LB417” indicates that this is a B-Stock drum.   Generally, some insignificant cosmetic flaw earns the “B-Stock” designation – never a mechanical issue. We carefully inspect and tune every snare. If we find a noticeable flaw, we won’t offer a drum for sale or we will mention it in a unique listing. Of the over 200 units we’ve sold, only a few have had flaws of any kind. These B-Stock drums lack serial numbers as well.

This snare comes complete with factory standard hardware including the P88 throw-off & P35 butt plate, Imperial lugs, “Keystone” badge, and Ludwig brand heads.
