This Ludwig LB416B Black Beauty Snare Drum is a gorgeous, black nickel over brass, 5″ x 14″ snare drum. The “Black Beauty” drums are some of the most recorded and sought after drums on the market. The “B” after “LB416” indicates that this is a B-Stock drum.
We carefully inspect and tune every drum before offering it for sale. Generally, some insignificant cosmetic flaw earns the “B-Stock” designation. Of the over 100 units we’ve sold, only one or two have had noticeable flaws of any kind. These B-Stock drums lack serial numbers as well.
