This scarce Harmony-made 1962 Regal Harmony R272 Meteor thin hollow body is deee-luxe all the way.

Date code stamp F-62. (Fall of 1962)

Note the rare original appointments: deluxe tuning machines, uncommon DeArmond pickups (not the usual, but still cool, “Gold Foils”), fancy tail piece, bow-tie inlays, multi-ply binding, “custom” truss rod and selector switch covers, etc. In all our internet research, we could only find two other examples with this trim.

Big bonus – this one plays great! Our shop luthier did a little neck shimming, bridge adjusting, and fret leveling to get the action nice and low. (It appears as though it was re-fretted at some point long ago. Thankfully, thin vintage style fret wire was used.)

There’s some of the expected finish checking and a couple of scratches here and there. No cracks, structural issues, or other signs of trauma. This baby really pops.
