The Vintage 1994 E-Mu Systems Proteus FX sound module features 8MB of digital samples modeled after the Proteus 1 Pop/Rock and Proteus 2 Orchestral sound sets, with the addition of the Proformance grand piano sample. From rich solo and ensemble strings, to warm woodwinds, to solid drums and percussion, to heavy guitars, basses and synth sounds, the Proteus FX is perfect for composing or performance in a variety of musical styles including pop, rock, jazz and symphonic.
Preset Library:
E-MU also created additional presets for the Proteus FX in SysEx format and delivered on floppy disks. Each volume consisted of 256 presets.
