This Yamaha YAS-875EX Alto Saxophone was purchased for resale from the original owner: A young woman who played it through her late high school and early college years.
The horn is structurally sound and complete with no major issues or repairs evident. It will certainly need an adjust and regulate and could benefit from a partial disassembly and cleaning (a little crud in the neck and between keys and posts, etc.). The pads appear clean and pliable with no tears or excessive wear, but don’t be surprised if a few need to be replaced for optimal performance and set up.
There’s a light dent near the bow and one in the side of the bell that do not affect playability as well as an accumulation of fine lacquer surface scratches in various areas around the horn (see photos). No permanent stains or areas of raw brass showing.
