The Tech 21 Comptortion Compressor/Distortion logically, and uniquely, combines two effects: compression and distortion. No other single pedal offers this kind of control over such a range of sounds –from totally clean to light distortion to smooth overdrive, and from zero compression to completely squashed.

Musically voiced to complement each other, these effects are independently adjustable so you can control the ratio that best suits your particular taste. Characteristic of all Tech 21 products, the CompTortion is multifunctional, exceptionally versatile, and will not depersonalize your guitar tone. You can use either the compression or distortion separately, or you can, of course, mix the two together. The CompTortion can also be used for just a clean boost.

Controls include “Comp”, “Tortion”, Tone and Level.

Operable with optional DC power supply, or 9V alkaline battery (not included).
